Kia retail are currently offering a number of special deals on 2023 Kia Sonet demo models where motorists can save up to R20 000 on vehicles with less than 15 000km on the clock.
Various dealers in the Kia Retail network are also offering up to R10 000 deal assistance on brand new Kia Sonet models.
The Sonet is available with a choice of two engines including Kia’s fuel-efficient 1.5MPI petrol engine that boasts 85kW at 6 300rpm and 144Nm at 4 500rpm and can be paired to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT in entry-level LX and mid-tier EX specification.
The 1.0T-GDi is available on flagship EX+ derivatives and boasts 88kW at 6 000rpm and 172Nm from 1 500rpm, which is transferred to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The Kia Sonet is available in a variety of derivatives, with varying levels of standard specification. However, even entry level LX derivatives boast features such as an eight-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, front and rear electric windows.
EX models take that one step further with things like rear park distance control, silver skid plates, 16-inch alloy wheels and roof rails. EX+ derivatives add side and curtain airbags, rear combination LED lights, a two-inch TFT LCD Supervision cluster, artificial leather seats with contrast red stitching, cruise control, automatic climate control and drive mode select.
Despite its market positioning the Sonet makes no compromises when it comes to safety. Standard fitment includes ESC, ABS with EBD, Hill-start Assist Control, Dual front airbags and Isofix child seat anchoring points.
The two engine options and three levels of specification mean that there is a Sonet for every budget while this price positioning has been well balanced between affordability as well as the array of features and benefits that ensure that the Sonet represents an exceptional
value proposition throughout the range.
